Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee To Return to Action in 2010

Race action returning March 2010 at the historic half mile in the Muskogee fairgrounds. Stanley Slader, a lifetime racer, has leased the track and is in the process of planning the comeback of one of the nations most historic dirt tracks. Right now the tentative classes will be Street Stocks, Super Stocks, Sportmods, and Modifieds, and possible some type of PURE STOCK.  The rules are being put together and should be ready sometime around the first of the year. There will be a meeting sometime in the first week of January.

We will post time and place ASAP. We are really looking forward to bringing racing back to what it use to be. Our goal is to show drivers and fans a great night of racing and make them feel like they are at home. We have some great ideas and would like to hear any thoughts or ideas from anyone to make racing as enjoyable as possible.
